Lot of apprehensions, bit of confusion, we grabbed opportunities, missed some, but we all stuck together and made a Grand beginning on this Very Day A Year back

Once upon a time, we climbed a rock and aspired greater heights.
ReplyDeleteWe were always different. We made the most noise.We were the biggest class in strength. We were unique. We had geeks when the word wasn't phrased. We had singers, poets and jesters of court. We had a wizard in maths and a conjurer in chemistry. We had twins like peas and physics without a compass. We had Geography-at-intervals and Arithmetic-with-accents. We had History-with-huge-notes and Bengali-like-Bedlam and Science-with-a-slippery-slope.
We no longer stand or sit on our mama's porch. We have married, had children, come full circle. Maybe someone joined a band. Maybe someone ran away. May'be they've come back. But we have gone the distance. Through the hurly-burly of life, together, we have climbed. The sweetness of childhood friends is thicker than blood. Thank you for this incredible friendship; it provides succour to one man when times are dark- or difficult or stressful and all that witchery- and happily ever after a heroes welcome surely awaits my special 'sung' friends.
